I am very honored to blogging for The 6th annual Second Life Christmas Expo that will be held December 1 to 12, 2016 and is a mega event that raises funds for Relay For Life of Second Life (RFL of SL). 100% of registration fees, sponsorship fees, kiosk donations, hunt, raffle, auction, and vendor donation items are paid to RFL of SL. Relay For Life of Second Life is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and is a virtual version of the real life Relay For Life. This year our theme is Home For The Holidays. Visit “small town, somewhere”, where there are busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style and in the air there’s a feeling of Christmas. You’ll see children laughing, people passing, meeting smile after smile. See strings of street lights, even stop lights, blinkin’ bright red and green, as the shoppers rush home with their treasures. Spanning 4 Regions, Second Life residents will be able to find Christmas gifts for friends and family, attend one of the many musical or dance performances, participate in the auctions, raffles, hunts, snow man building, ice skating, or shop for a Christmas tree.
SL CHRISTMAS EXPO – RFL Benefit
Very excited to welcome back the Winter Breedables Fair to the Expo. The SL Christmas Expo & The Winter Breedables Fair go together like peanut butter & jelly and we are so pleased to have the Breedables home for the holidays. The highly anticipated One Of A Kind Breedables auction is back this year as well. Breedable Creators have given generously of their time and of their hearts to create these special OOAK Breedables. Of course, a variety of mini Breedable Auctions will take place over the 12 days of the Expo.
New for 2016 is our Holiday Exclusive LE (Limited Edition) Collection at the SL Christmas Expo. A special area has been designed for items that are New, Exclusive and for sale only as a Limited Edition at the SL Christmas Expos. The merchants of the Expo have outdone themselves this year with spectacular items that you will only be able to purchase during the 12 days of the SL Christmas Expo. These items will not be offered for sale before or after the Expo. Holiday shopping never looked so good !
And also pleased to have the Avi Choice Awards – The GRAND FINALE being held as an event at the Christmas Expo, on December 4, 2016. Once again, The Avi Choice awards have partnered with the SL Christmas Expo to provide additional promotion and advertising as part of the Diamond, Ruby & Emerald sponsorship’s.
T1Radio recorded promotional on air advertisements of your store, prior to and during the Expo, is again part of the Diamond and Ruby sponsorship this year. These radio promotions are available for all Radios, Clubs and DJ’s across Second Life to use. You will also receive a copy to distribute.

About Relay For Life of Second Life:
Relay For Life of Second Life is an annual fundraising event that takes place in Second Life in July each year. Volunteers form or join teams to have fun while fundraising and raising awareness from mid-March through mid-July. In July teams build campsites and walk a track, just like a Real World Relay. Since 2005, RFL of SL has raised over $2.5 million USD for the American Cancer Society. Since 1985, Relay For Life has become an international movement with over 5,000 Relays being held around the world. As of July 2014, RFL of SL ranks 17 out of 5,000!
